Spypost. 4.0% abv Session Bitter

"Brewed using a combination of four fine local malts and English hops. This deceptive quality session bitter has strong biscuit & toffee notes combined with subtle citrus hop aromas creating a morish ale of distinction and worthy of being on of the most popular in the 'Masters' range of bottled beers."

Spypost is a beer that has been with us from the beginning, back in 2000. Now using a revamped image and the same fantastic recipe we have honoured this ever popular beer by having it become the flagship ale in our growing range of wonderful bottled beers. Spypost takes its name from an area near the brewery, with great views up towards the Wellington Monument.

Whiteball IPA. 4.0% abv Hoppy Pale Ale

"A crisp blonde bitter brewed from the finest single malt with a double hopped infusion in the copper. This blend creates the distinct biscuit and toffee notes with intense fruit and floral aromas from a hefty use of Cascade hop."

A refreshing blonde ale, Whiteball is another of our most popular ales in both cask and bottle. Taking its name from the hill atop which the brewery sits, this beer is one that has been with us for a long time and has been ever present and popular on bars around Somerset and Devon. With the addition of fine British Cascade hops to the recipe and the new label and pumpclip design, this beer has taken on a new identity, but is still as popular as ever!

Thunderbridge Ale. 4.7% abv Roasted Ruby Ale

"A dark four malt ale, fullbodied and rich in flavour, plenty of roasted malt, toffee and caramel notes with a citrus and chocolate finish. This quality dark ale takes its name from a local railway bridge on the fringe of the local basins, so called as when a train passes the sound of thunder can be heard and so the legend was born."

Strong, dark and robust are great words used to describe this warming ale. The use of black malts gives this beer chocolatey-coffee flavour that works really well with red meat or on its own by the fire! Ever present on the bar at The Woodyard, Thunderbridge has proven itself to be well-loved by all who have tried it either by bottle or cask!

Devon Wheat. 4.3% abv Cloudy German Style Wheat Beer

"A wonderfully refreshing light beer brewed with locally sourced Devon wheat. Banana & clove esters greet you when pouring our authentic, traditional style wheat beer. "

The recipe for this classic German style beer was picked up by Richard on one of his Brewing tours through Bavaria. Now lovingly recreated, this cloudy wheat beer has proved to be one of our most interesting and popular brews. This very fruity and refreshing ale is great at any time of year, be it sat in a warm beer garden in the Summer or by the fire in Winter. This fantastic beer is also suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans!

Devon's Pride. 3.8% abv Classic Session Bitter

"An excellent rich, bronze, traditional real ale. Light and distinctly drinkable, subtly hopped with a well balanced bitter sweet flavour. Brewed to satisfy the most discerning palate."

A true classic. This recipe was originally created way back in 1990 by Blackdown Brewery of Honiton, and it became ours when we aquired the brewery back in 2008. While keeping the recipe the same, a few tweaks to the style and design of the branding, and this ever popular ale is back on the market and being snapped up in both cask and bottle.

Crimble Pud. 4.5% abv Spiced Dark Christmas Ale

"Our rich, dark Christmas ale is packed full of festive flavours and bursting with plump vine fruits. A warming combination of traditional mulled spices infused with the citrus aromas from classic English hop. A true "Christmas gift in the glass.""

Making use of Dean's background as a chef, this wonderfully balanced spiced ale has a truly authentic yule tide feel. Using lots of rich, dark malts to give a roasted coffee/chocolate flavour greatly compliments the warming spices and spicey hop used in this beer. The addition of juicy fruits during the brewing process adds another element to this beer which gives it a unique and satisfying flavour. Santa would be proud!

Hawaiian Dwarf IPA. 7.5% abv Heavily Hopped Indian Pale Ale

"An IPA with real bite. Takes its name from the mango variety used to brew this far from dwarf like IPA. Huge hop aromas from the massive addition of Cascade hops added at the long and cold conditioning stage so as to only add flavour and aroma from this fantastic floral citrus hop. Bursts of fruit, citrus and floral hop greet you when you take the top off a "Hawaiian Dwarf"".

A wonderful new beer from us here at Masters Brewery. Having never brewed a big, punchy IPA we decided to give one a go, but this is no ordinary pale ale. Brewed with fresh Hawaiian Dwarf mangoes and a huge helping of Cascade hops, this Pale Ale has a true fruity and refreshing character whilst still maintaining the IBUs IPA lovers crave.

Mint Chocolate Imperial Stout. 10% abv Majestic Stout With Real Chocolate And Mint

A wonderfully interesting new beer from Masters Brewery.

A collaboration between us and Simon Martin from The Real Ale Guide (Check him out on YouTube and twitter @realaletoday), this beer makes use of some fantastic chocolate from Willie's Cacao (www.williescacao.com) who are just 5 minutes down the road from the brewery as well as some fantastic local, fresh mint grown only minutes away. These ingredients combine beautifully with roasted and chocolate malts to give a lovely smooth, intensely chocolatey stout that has a truly royal flavour.

This limited edition beer is presented beautifully in a sleek and stylish bottle to show true class both inside and out. Each bottle is individually bottled and labelled by us at Masters Brewery, all by hand. And as this is a limited edition beer, each bottle is uniquely numbered.
